LUCY WALSH,
Peacefully in hospital, followed by a lengthy illness on Sunday, November 23, 2008 at the age of 89 years. Daughter of the late William and Lucy McConnell. Predeceased by her husband Joe Walsh, son Bill and granddaughters Pamela and Dominique Walsh. Beloved mother of Wayne (Denise Chartrand) of Lefevre, ON., Dennis (Jeannine Brassard) of Montreal, QC., Frank (Lillian Wintonyk) of Sharbot Lake, ON., Sharon A. Labbé (Ron) of St-Lin Laurentides, QC., and Mike (Jay Matthew) of Gibson BC. Dear sister of Ursula Armour, New Liskeard, ON., Roy McConnell (Isabelle Marceau) of North Bay ON., and sister-in-law to Jenny McConnell of Hamilton and Fred Walsh of Burlington. She will also be greatly missed by 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. The family will welcome friends at the MONETTE & FRENCH FUNERAL HOME (450 Government Road West, Kirkland Lake, ON., P2N 3L1) on Friday, November 28th, 2008 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. from the “Teck-Hughes” Chapel of the funeral home.
