Weisenberg, Lois (1928-2017)With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Lois Weisenberg at the Kirkland & District Hospital on July 21, 2017. Lois is survived by her loving daughter Sheila Bowes (Carl) of Kirkland Lake who spent much of time caring for her during the last few years; her son Earl Weisenberg of Alberta and her grandson Cory Bowes of Kirkland Lake. She will be missed dearly by her friend Sheila Carisse who checked in on a regular basis. Lois was born in Pembroke, ON and relocated to several towns and finally made Kirkland Lake her home. Lois enjoyed her time at the Legion, Encore Club, Polish Hall, and took part in a local bowling league. Her hobbies also included knitting and enjoyed puzzle books. Lois found much enjoyment in volunteering specifically for Charlie Angus’ office.Aqua Cremation
