PEEVER, Leslie
In loving memory of Mr. Leslie Peever who passed away at Kirkland Lake and District Hospital on Saturday, February 16, 2019 with family by his side. Pre-deceased by his parents Avelyn and Ivan Peever, he is survived by his sister Dale, nephews Troy and Jared, great-niece Lainey and great-nephew Parker. Also surviving are his Uncle Kelvin (Signe)Bebee, Aunt Altina Haase, Twyla (Bruce) Wilson and many cousins. Leslie will be remembered as a gentle, humble soul - loved by all. He was genuinely interested in everyone he met. Leslie was involved in Scout`s Canada for many years; a member of Tomstown Presbyterian and the Good Shepherd churches. He belonged to the Englehart Agriculture and Horticulture Societies. Les appreciated anything to do with nature. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, photography and gardening. He and Dad took great pride in growing some of the best produce and sharing with family and friends. He remembered good times hosting corn roasts at the homestead. The last few years were spent bonding with Parker who brought such joy to his life. The family of the late Mr. Leslie Peever will receive friends at the Good Shepherd Church, Englehart, Saturday, February 23, from 10:00 - 11:00am. A Funeral Service will be held at Good Shepherd Church on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 11:00 am. Pastor Stephen Crosby officiating. Spring interment at the Ingram Cemetery, Tomstown. In memory contributions to Hilliardton Marsh or Englehart/Kirkland hospital Palliative care would be greatly appreciated.
