FRANCESCHET, Leonida Renaldo (June 16, 1934 – February 26, 2012) – Passed away peacefully in his home with his family by his side. Leo had many passions in life, including reading, wine making, cross-country skiing and gardening. He felt blessed daily throughout his life, and shared many stories with us all. Leo has been predeceased by his parents Ferdinando and Maria (Brescancin), and brother Luciano, all of Italy, and his daughter Gabriella of Kearns. He is survived by his wife Floriana of Kearns, brothers Leonzio of Kirkland Lake, Roberto(Maria-Louisa) of Italy, and sister Adrianna(Gianni) of Italy, son Gabriele Spadetto (Pat) of Swastika, and Lucy Howg (Billy) of Kirkland Lake. He is also survived by his five grandchildren Julia Spadetto-Forward (Jeremy), Kristal Spadetto-Charbonneau (Aaron), Jasmine Spadetto (Mackie), Jessie Howg (Kassie) and Kelsie Howg (Ashley) all of Kirkland Lake, as well as great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Cremation will take place, and a Celebration of Leo’s life will be at a later date.Offer Condolence for the family of Leonida Franceschet
