Dear Norma, Linda, Debbie & families I am saddened to hear of Len’s passing. Len was very kind to me when my father passed away & offered me summer employment at he school board to help me through school. . Len lead the way & all students enjoyed working there under his direction. I remember that Len was an avid snowmobiler & promoted the sport. My father “Albert” always respected everything he did in this regard, May everyone fondly remember the good times during this difficult period. My sympathies, Denis Chartrand

With deepest regards, condolescences and sincerity at this time of loss. Len ,”Bluebeard ” as I always referred and deferred to him, was like kin to all us youngsters growing up in King Kirkland. His kindness, his guidance, support and gentleness was always and ever present 24 seven. Another King legacy rests in peace and will always be thought of when you come home and see the white home of Len and Norma’s

I always enjoyed my visits with Len at KDH and, later on, at TPR. A couple of times we made music together – Len on his fiddle and me on my guitar – He made sweet music and he stuck with it as long as he could! He was always so kind. Norma, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. We know you will continue to find love and support here in this great community. May you find God an ever-present comforter in these difficult days.

Dear Norma, Lynda, Debbie and families….. Our sincere condolences on the passing of Len. Like Donna, I have many wonderful memories of times that you and Len came to the house, to play cards, play music or just have a wonderful visit. Len sure loved playing the fiddle and we sure enjoyed listening to him. Mom and Dad’s favorite tune was Maple Sugar and I know Len & Mom are playing it now and enjoying every moment of it. Len had a wonderful sense of humor and he will be forever missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families during this trying time. Ivan & Maralyn (Smith) Luke

Norma, Lynda , Rick and family and Debbie and family: My most sincere condolences on the passing of Len. An original King kirkland gentleman. Len always had the time and interest in what you were up to (and why!!!!). A little bit of mischievous humour and a lot of sticking one foot out and hands hanging on his hip pockets when chatting…that’s how u knew he was interested in the topic. Serious…sometimes Comical….often Intuitive…..definitely Compassionate and caring…….forever With kindest regards

Norma, Linda & Debbie – I am so very sorry to hear of Len’s passing. I have wonderful memories of playing in the playhouse beside the house with Linda & Debbie. Len’s passion of “old” cars was shared with my dad. Dad would love to go see what Len was doing with the cars he had. Our parents spent many Saturday nights playing cards while we girls played “house” or “school” or “store”. We had a wonderful childhood when are families were together. Great memories of a great man and his family. Maybe Len can play a few tunes on the fiddle up in heaven and mom & dad can dance along while he plays. All our love and lots of hugs!! Donna & family

Norma, Lynda, Debbie & Families It has been a privilege to serve Len during the past year here, at TPR. I had the pleasure of having such a great chat with Len last Wednesday at Dinner, and always felt he knew I enjoyed each one of them as much as he did. Coming into the dining room and being summoned over to his table each time, as I passed Norma and her also acknowledging me with the biggest smile, I never knew what was going to be “our topic” that day. He always knew he could get a giggle out of me, as well I would leave him with a giggle and a backrub. RIP Len, You will be missed! Patti Connolly(Crouse)

So very sad to hear of the passing of your dad , husband, grandpa. I will always have great memories of my time spend in his home in King Kirkland with Linda. He always had a smile and you were always welcome. It was one of the few places my parents would let me stay over night at. So sorry but I will not be able to be with you all as I will be out of town. Sending you all lots of love and hugs. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time.
