BURNS, LAWRENCE GEORGE (LORNE) – – passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 17, 2007 with his loving family by his side. Born in Cobalt, Ontario, he was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Margery Burns, his first wife Ada and daughter-in-law Leona. Lovingly remembered by his wife Mae. Survived by his two sons Mont & Kenneth (Brenda) and by three grandchildren – Shelly (Larry Quibell), Lawrence (Ginette) Burns and Sue Burns. He leaves behind 8 great-grandchildren – Blake, Cassandra, Logan, Surge, Sierra, Lonnie, Dillon and Salem. Sadly missed by his sister-in-law Edith Porter. A very special thank you to the VON nurses, Dr. Denton and the Monette & French Funeral Home. Lawrence was laid to rest at the Harley Township Cemetery where a private Graveside Service was held.
