Sadly, the family of Ken Alexander announces his passing on September 8, 2017 at the Englehart and District Hospital after a lengthy battle with heart disease. Born in Parry Sound in 1935, educated in Dorest, he worked for the Lands and Forest for more than 30 years. His love of trees touched us all. He was predeceased by his parents Mary and Arthur and brother Ernest of Burks Falls. Survived by his loving wife Joyce nee Bonderud of 57 years, and his older brother Harold (Clarie) of King City and two sons, Paul (Corrinne) of Tarzwell and Gregg (Kelly) of New Liskerad. He was also survived by 7 grandchildren Justin, Morgan, Cortney, Katelyn, Spencer, Nicholas, Jacob and numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation has already taken place as per his wishes. A Celebration of Ken’s Life will be held at the Round Lake and Area Fire Hall on September 14, 2017 from 2 to 4pm. Donations to the Englehart and District Hospital will be grateful accepted.
