Dear Marlene and family, I was so sorry to hear of your loss. Your mom was loved and adored by so many. Marlene, though I did not have the chance to spend a lot of time with your mother, she was so easy to know and love that I feel as if I have lost mine all over again. My deepest sympathies to you and your family. Johanna could not have been loved more by anyone. The world seems a little smaller now. I hold you and yours close in my heart. Love, Daintry

Harry,Tony, Tina, Maryanne, Henry, Marlene, Eric. So tragic the loss of your Wife/mother. She was big part of my life and I will never forget her. She loved telling us stories of her life as a young girl in Holland when we would come up for a visit in the summer. Her and DiDi going for their walks around the Home stead stopping by all the houses to say hello. The tours around the lake on the pontoon boat just talking away about what we would see on these tours. Your painting of the farm house where you and Harry lived with my parents sits proudly in our front room. Stay strong everyone as Johanna would have wanted you to. This is not good bye tante Jo, I will see you on the other side. Perry
We were shocked and saddened to hear of Johanna’s passing. The family lived next door to us out in Federal for many years while the children were growing up. We enjoyed many wonderful visits with Johanna and Harry out at their home on the lake. Please accept our sincere condolences. Marilyn and Elaine

Harry, Eric and family: Sincere sorrow for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Sid & Myrta Hamden
Dear Janssen Family We can only imagine how devastating this tragedy has been on everyone. However, the picture you chose for this page was absolutely perfect. It captures her essence completely. Tante Joke had the best laugh and the quickest smile ever! Always welcoming and ready with a cup of coffee (or tea) and cookies. Her love of children is legendary and your kids have been blessed to have such a remarkable and loving and full-of-fun mother, grandmother, great-grandmother in your lives. She was also a “pull-no-punches” lady who said it just the way she saw it. She will remain in our hearts and memories forever! We too will miss her very much. Love to you all Frank & Lee
Dear Harry, Tony, Tina, Mary-Ann, Henry, Marlene , Eric and families.. We have only just heard the sad news of Johanna’s death. We want you all to know how very much you are in our thoughts and prayers. Johanna was a wonderful lady and she will be missed by many.. When Harry, Johanna and family moved into the Shunsby homestead we all knew that they were the perfect family for the home. Both Johanna and Harry were much admired by Marie Shunsby and the Shunsby family and they both made Marie very happy to see the family home built by Martin being so lovingly taken care of. I know Marie and Johanna developed a very special bond and how much they enjoyed sharing each others life stories The Shunsby,s were always made very welcome and we appreciated being able to come and visit whenever we wanted to. I know John appreciated those visits to his old home very much. We very much wish Harry a speedy and complete recovery Please contact us and let us know how Harry is ⦠.
