BANNINK, Johanna
In loving memory of Mrs. Johanna Bannink who passed away at Teck Pioneer Residence, Kirkland Lake, on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at the age of 92. Born in Holland on March 4, 1926, Johanna came to Canada in July 1952. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother with a great love for her family, and serving anyone that came to their door. She was a excellent role model for her family. Johanna was very involved in the Living Way Church because of her deep faith in her Lord and Saviour. Our mother was a very hard working woman, and wore many hats. She worked on the farm and took care of our home and all of us, as well as helping anyone that came to the door. Pre-deceased by her loving husband Bert and daughter Wilma. She is survived by her children Joanne Mountain (Dwayne), Jean Ellerton (Lionel), Grace Macdonald (Johnny), Betty McMahon (Larry), Bert Bannink (Pam) and a choosen daughter Sandra Isaacs (Kesh). Also by 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. The family of the late Mrs. Johanna Bannink will receive friends at the McDonald Funeral Home, Englehart, Sunday, January 13, from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Living Way Church on Monday, January 14, 2019 at 11:00 am. In memory contributions to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation will be greatly appreciated.
