Mom, I was gone for so long. I wish I’d had more time with you once I came back. I guess I should be grateful for the time I did have with you. But I so wish you were still here with us for all the love and support you gave us, the cheering at the rink and ballfields, but most of all, for the smile you always had for all of us. Buffy misses you. Every once in awhile I can hear the words “you A.H.” and I know where they are coming from. Keep an eye on us. We will keep you proud.

One year ago today, we gathered with you at your bedside, and shared stories, laughed and cried. All our hearts broke that day when you left us, but we all knew you were finally in no more pain!
