To the Parcher Family, I was saddened to hear of this loss and our thoughts and prayers are with the family and all those left behind. Jim coached and mentored me in the old Cobalt Machine Shop in the last year of my apprenticeship before I left for Kapuskasing (1982). I fondly remember Jim’s quick smiles as he joked or played pranks. He was full of life. Our sincere condolences. Roy and Heather Van Clieaf

The Parcher’s and the Koykka’s go back over seven decades and with the passing of Jimmy, our hearts are very heavy with sadness. Knowing that we will see Jim in the resurrection eases that pain. The Koykka’s in B.C send all their love to Hugette and the Parcher family. We lost a wonderful man in Jim and the world is temporarily a poorer place for it.

So sad to hear about Jim. When I think back of when I knew him in Abitibi Canyon, I recall his happy go lucky attitude. My sincere condolences to the Parcher family.
