GABOURY, Hazel
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts to announce the passing of our mother Hazel Florence Gaboury (Murray) on November 02,2020 at the age of 83. Hazel is now reunited with her late husband Luke Joseph Gaboury (1991) grandson Alan Ellerton (1987) great grandson Felix Scott Link (2016 ) her sister’s Helen and Jean. Hazel was born September 9, 1937 in Port Tupper Nova Scotia to Herbert and Florence Murray. Hazel came to Ontario and met and married her funny loving husband Luke Gaboury on December 10, 1956 They settled in Kenebek Ontario on the family farm. There they raised their six children, Debbie Gaboury of Englehart, Karen Plante of Earlton, Wanda Jones of Englehart, Rob Gaboury (Angie) of Huntsville, Mark Gaboury of Red Deer Alberta, and Scott Gaboury (JoAnne) NorthBay. Hazel enjoyed returning to the ocean and spending time in Port Hawkesbury Nova Scotia, going fishing, playing cards, bingo and spending time with her family. She is survived by her brothers George Murray (Port Hawkesbury) and Howard Murray (British Columbia) and also her six children fifteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren the family would like to extend their gratitude to Northview Nursing Home in Englehart Ontario for the wonderful care our mother received. As per family wishes a private family celebration of life was held on November 3, 2020 at the Grand Boulevard Earlton.Condolences, contributions and memorial candles may be left below..
