The Pratts
What a life, what a heritage and what an example. He left a part of himself with everyone he came in contact with. He was the last uncle among 16 that I lay claim to. He was my employer through my teens and a leader at church. Firm with his word but not in a harsh way. His smiling face, tearful eye and warm heart will be remembered . Using my sanctified imagination, I think there was a joyful reunion when he arrived home - such a long list of welcomers. See you later Uncle Harvey. Well done!

My Pratt cousins and dear Aunt Iris
There are so many memories and feelings that come to mind when I think of my uncle Harvey but the words that keep coming to me are love and family. The love that he always showed to us nieces and nephews but especially to my dad will never be forgotten. I remember as a kid the daily phone calls with my dad where they’d catch each other up on their day, I always wondered how they found so much to talk about! And then when my dad was dying of cancer, Uncle Harvey at 92 made the trip to the hospital once a week for as long as he could to spend time with his little brother. His being there for our dad is a lesson that my siblings and I have tried to emulate with each other ever since. I will miss my visits with Uncle Harvey but I know that there was great rejoicing in heaven when he arrived there on Saturday. I’m sure that my dad was one of the first to greet his hero! You are all on my hearts as you say goodbye to your dad. I am so thankful that it is for just a little while!

Mrs. Pratt and Family,
Dear Mrs. Pratt,
We are thinking of you during this time of grief as you process your deep loss. We knew your husband to be a good and godly man, well-liked and revered by many. He was friendly, honest and genuine; he loved his family and was good to his friends and neighbours. We are confident that when he entered heaven's gates he heard his Heavenly Father say, "Well done, good and faithful servant.............. Enter thou into the joy of thy Lord." Matthew 25:23
We will keep your family in our prayers in these difficult days of grief. May the knowledge that he is now with his Saviour, bring you peace and comfort. Lloyd & Nancy Packham

Anne and I send our condolences to the family and loved ones of Harvey Pratt who is now with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
One of my favourite memories of Harvey is when Dad (Dave) had just ought his Massey-Ferguson 35 tractor with two mounted ploughs in the early 60’s, but couldn’t get it to plough. So he waited until Harvey came with the mail and he set them up for him and away Dad went ploughing as happy as could be.
Meeting Harvey was always a pleasant experience.

We have so many fond
memories of Mr Pratt.
He was a truly special person who had a gentle manner.
He always had a story and chuckle when he would deliver the mail to our farm. Our
family looked forward to his visits.

My deepest sympathies to the family,
Mr Pratt was such a good friend to my parents!
I always think of him bringing the mail, often stopping in for a bowl of Moms soup, and asking about the family. He was a very kind, caring man. So much more than the mailman!
