Aww Ken….just this early morning I found out about the death of your Mom…I am very saddened, but we can’t live forever….Grace was a great friend of my Mom and Dad….a whole generation gone now. Every time I would go to Kirkland I would always go in to have a visit with her, we would sit and chat and laugh and she would tell me all about the Blacks and what you and Peter were doing. She always looked so amazing and trendy…..a real role model for women. I know she influenced many of us! I was Mrs. Sparrow’s paperboy for six years, and it was always a pleasure to stop by and have a chat with her. She took genuine interest in anything you had to tell her, and was always incredibly kind. I send my deepest condolences to her family.

Deepest Condolences to the family. Grace was a lifelong friend of my mother, Dorothy Donnelly Rutherford and my Godmother. Grace always made time to write fabulous Christmas letters to inform us of the going ons in Kirkland Lake and the family. She was a wonderful graceful positive woman and will be greatly missed.

David , Myself and our children will always remember Grace. A remarkable woman that I could talk with for hours and of course she would listen for hours. She spoke so highly of her family and had such wonderful stories of her Christmas’ and Thanksgivings’ that were always spent with them. She had quite a little family on Wright Hargreaves that guarded her and loved her dearly as well. I will miss you Grace, your soft voice, your encouraging words….your stern instructions …., and your smile.
