Many years ago I met Gerry as I peddled potatoes in Kirkland Lake At that time memory fails but he had a restaurant or chip store not to far from the then Dominion store Over the years we crossed paths and then he showed up in Englehart as a butcher in Value Mart where I still delivered potatoes I was always glad to stop and have a few minutes chat with him and if he was getting much fishing He told me about retirement and I ask him what was his plans Ive got all this work to catch up Every now and then he would back in the store filling in It saddens my heart to realize that he has now gone So short ones retirement I can only say that some people you meet and remember for ever and others just fade away Gerry was one that was always cheerful to talk to and ask how thing were going My deepest sympathy to the family Doug

-Our road trips to Beamsville to visit -VW Beetleso cool. -Food fight at the cottagecake up the nose for Karen & Gerry! -Family Christmas party at Harveys Restaurantdance, dance, dance! -Getting French fries in a cone from Uncle Gerry at the restaurant.
