LACROIX, Georgette (née Bergeron)The family sadly announces the passing of Georgette Lacroix on March 24, 2015 at Teck-Pioneer Residence. She will be greatly missed by her children Jocelyn (Ed) Obradovich of Kirkland Lake, ON and Katherine Webb of Ottawa, ON. Georgette also leaves behind her dear grandchildren Lauren, Nicholas, Ryan and Shawna as well as numerous nieces of nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Emilien and Georgianna (née Neveu) Bergeron; her beloved husband Howard Laroix; sisters Jean, Theresa, Estelle and Yvette and brothers Philippe and Emile. Georgette loved gardening, crafts and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Horticultural Society and leader of the junior garden club. The family would like to express a warm thank you to the staff of Teck-Pioneer Residence for the kindness and excellent care they provided to Georgette over the years. Cremation has taken place and a private celebration of Georgette’s life will be held at a later time.
