Margaret and family My sincerest condolences to you all. Garnet was a fine man. I knew him only thru going to his home to visit …and he always had a smile. The visits were short but always filled with a few good laughs! MARGARET always welcomed me at the door. I knew my day would have some cheer in it when Garnet was on my list. It is hard to loose a loved one. ..but memories are something no one can take away. May you find peace and comfort in the days ahead.

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Garnet Evans. Garnet passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 20, 2015 at the Kirkland & District Hospital. He is survived by his loving spouse, Margaret his children; Debbie Stalkman (Gerry), Kathy Mitchel (Pat), Mike Evans (Patti) as well as his daughter-in-law Ann Larcher. Garnet will also be forever remembered by his 8 grandchildren as well as numerous great-grandchildren. Donations in Garnet’s memory may be made to the Kirkland & District Hospital Foundation (145 Government Rd. East, Box 3000, Kirkland Lake, ON. P2N 3P4).
