CLEMENT, Fortunat
In loving memory of Mr. Fortunat Clément who passed away at Temiskaming Lodge, Haileybury, on Monday, January 04, 2016 at the age of 97. Mr. Clément was born on April 16, 1918 in Earlton, ON to the late Jean-Baptiste and Joséphine Clément. Fortunat had a full life and liked playing cards, bingo and rummikub. He enjoyed gardening and taking care of the cemetery after retirement. His life was full of a variety of employment; farming, secretary, shipping & receiving & caretaker. He enjoyed life to the fullest and will be missed by his whole family and friends. Pre-deceased by his wife Marie-Anne Ethier, son Arcade and son-in-law Chester. He is survived by his children Madeleine Hopper, Rita Boileau, Claude, Maurice, Fernand (Denise), Fortunat (Michelle), Anicet (Linda), Gilbert (Ginette) and Chantal. He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. The family of the late Mr. Fortunat Clement will receive friends at the St. Jean Baptiste Parish Hall, Earlton, Friday, January 8, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Jean Baptiste Catholic Church on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 11:00 am. Father Germain Turcotte officiating.
