HAWTHORNE, ELIZABETH – – Peacefully at the Bingham Memorial Hospital in Matheson on Saturday, September 22, 2007 in her 94th year. Predeceased by her husband Thomas. Loving mother of Helen Dambrowitz & her husband George. Proud grandmother of Judy Tromp (Scott), Joanne Dambrowitz (Wayne Neill), Jennifer Tremblay (Marc) and Joy Kacsandi (Peter). Fondly remembered by 9 great-grandchildren. Sadly missed by her nieces & nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend at St. Andrew’s United Church (452 Fifth Ave., Matheson) on Sunday, September 23, 2007 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm and on Monday, September 24, 2007 from 10:00 – 11:00 am. The Funeral Service will be held in the Sanctuary of the Church on Monday, September 24, 2007 at 11:00 am with Rev. Cindy Laing & Rev. Norma Teigen officiating. A Graveside Service will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church Cemetery (115 St. Andrews Rd., Scarborough) on Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at 11:00 am with the Rev. Duncan Cameron officiating.
