Family announces with sadness her passing at home-beloved wife of Alph Schaffner (58 years), cherished mother of Amelia Schaffner (Paul Alarie) and Barry (Leisa) Schaffner, son in law Tony Williams, grandchildren Kirsty, Brittany, Joshua, Mark, David, Katrina, Nicholas and Gabriella. Also survived by brothers and sisters Shirley (late Tony) Schaffner, Margaret (Joe) Poulin, Kelly (John) Schaffner, Terry (Elaine) Widdifield, Brian (Krystal) Widdifield, Cathy (Robert) McLean, Darlene Brennan, Mike (Brandy) Widdifield, Sandra (Steve)Dier, Debbie Widdifield and Lee Widdifield. Predeceased by parents Robert and Florence Widdifield, daughter Lisa Schaffner Williams (2006) and brothers Dean, Barry, Roger and Dale Betty will also be missed by numerous nieces and nephews and many other friends and relatives. We would like to thank Nancy and Trevor at CCAC, nurses Crystal, Evelyn and Liz at Bayshore Home Health and Stephanie, Brenda, and staff at Red Cross and Dr. Kanya Forstner for their compassion and support. The family will receive friends on Sunday June 5, 2011 2-4pm and 7-9 pm at McDonald Funeral Home Englehart, Ontario. Funeral service will be held Monday June 6, 2011 11:00 am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church Englehart, Ontario. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
