Mrs. Carston was my preceptor when I trained in1970 at the hospital. I have fond memories of her. Her encouragement and excellent knowledge of her specialty coupled with her outstanding organizational skills have followed me through 42 years of nursing. Be proud that she left such a legacy. I can only hope that I have “paid it forward.”

Dorothy loved babies and valued them her entire life. First as a nurse and then as the President of Pro-life. I have no doubt that she will have a wonderful reward in heaven.
