It is with deep regret that the family of Donald “Richard” McMillan announces his untimely passing on Friday, August 12, 2011 at the age of 76 years. Richard was predeceased by his parents Claudia and Donald McMillan and brothers Arnold and Melvin. He is survived by his spouse Winnifred “Winnie” McMillan of Tillsonburg; daughters Cherylee (Barry) Tarr, Lori-Ann (Scott) White and Betty-Jo McMillan and their mother Dianne Ayers. Richard is also survived by his grandchildren Jennifer, Jessica, Jeremy, Jason, Nathan and Crystal; great grandchildren Curtis, Michael, Ryan and Wesley; brothers Basil and Keith (Jeannie); sister in law Yvette McMillan and stepsons Arnie and Darcy Jordan. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Monette & French Funeral Home on Saturday, August 20, 2011 from 10:30 a.m. followed by a funeral service in the “Teck-Hughes” Chapel at 11:30 a.m. A time of fellowship and refreshment will follow at the Encore Club. Richard will be laid to rest in the Kirkland Lake Cemetery. Donations in Richard’s memory may be made to the Encore Club (30 Second St. Kirkland Lake, ON.
