PATERSON, Donald ` Don ` James
In loving memory of Mr. Donald “ Don †James Paterson, of Englehart, who passed away at the Northview Nursing Home, on Friday April 30, 2010 at the age of 93. Don was born and raised in Englehart, he served in the Airforce from 1940 to 1945. He became Englehart’s new town clerk when his father retired from the job. He held that position until he retired. Don was a member of St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 104, Englehart Masonic Lodge, Rotary & Kinsmen Clubs. In his spare time he loved to curl, camping at Sesekinika and fishing. Pre-deceased by his wife Isabelle, his parents James & Mary Paterson, brother Bill, sisters Mary & Margaret, 2 nieces Joan Potts & Faye Paterson. He is survived by 2 nieces Jean Bruce & Marty Paterson and 2 nephews Brock Paterson & Jim Bruce and 6 grandnephews. The family of the late Mr. Don Paterson will receive friends at the McDonald Funeral Home, Englehart, Monday, May 3 from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Englehart on Tuesday May 4, at 11:00 am. Mr. Stephen Wuerch officiating. In memory contributions to Englehart & District Hospital – Clinic Expansion Fund or St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church will be greatly appreciated.
