I will Miss My Wonderful Mother in Law, Desneiges. Years ago I know I wasn’t the Greatest Son in Law. Mom, I WILL NOT let you down again. The family announces with sorrow the death of Desneiges Holmes (née Plourde) at the age of 75 years on March 9, 2013. Desneiges was the daughter of the late Alphena Phillippon and late Albert Plourde. She was predeceased by her son Pierre Parent and siblings Aderville, Georgette, Marielle and Jean-Pierre. Desneiges was a very dear mother to Nicole Cossette (Robert Tremblay), Christian (Michelle) Parent, Mylène (Reno) Mislenovich, Claude Parent and Yvon (Elizabeth) Parent. She was a very dear grandmother to Luc Courchaine, Meaghan Parent, Mireille Courchaine, Mark Craig, Danielle Parent, Roxane Parent, Matthew Parent, Marc-André Parent, Amanda Parent, Susan Mislenovich, Christopher Parent and Stéphanie Parent and very dear great grandmother to Gavin Courchaine and Ryder Courchaine. Desneiges will be sadly missed by her siblings Lise (Jim) Vigneault, Carolle (Ian) Foltz and Gáetan (Marge) Plourde. Her children wish to express their sincere appreciation to her for giving them the courage to go through life and the precious gift of unconditional love. As per Desneiges’ wish, no visitation will be held. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Paroisse Assomption on March 23, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Donations in Desneiges’ memory may be made to the Ontario Lung Association (573 King St. Toronto, ON.
