Dear Anita and family so sorry for your loss, we did not know her well but just the stories you told me Dawn was a very kind and wonderful lady
It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Dawn after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Dawn was predeceased by her husband Harry, son Donald and sisters Rona Clifford and Pat Reed. She is survived by her sons Nathan Block of Kirkland Lake and David Block; grandchildren Cory Block (Ashley) of Latchford and Aleisha Block (Jason) of Kirkland Lake and their mother Anita Block-Bron of Kirkland Lake and great granddaughters Kaystan and Jaleah. Born and raised in Timmins, Ontario, Dawn had a zest for life and a love for her God, Jehovah. She dedicated her life to her God and helped bring the Bible’s message to many families over the years. Dawn faced many challenges in her life but her faith carried her through. Her devotion to her husband of 52 years and her love for her family, especially her grandchildren Cory and Aleisha and was well known to all who knew her. She was a remarkable woman and will be sadly missed but fondly remembered. Special thanks and appreciation to the staff at Extendicare for looking after Dawn so very well during her 9 year stay. Your caring ways, compassion and thoughtfulness will never be forgotten. A private family service will be held at the Kirkland Lake Cemetery. Donations in Dawn’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Timmins-Porcupine District.Offer Condolence for the family of Dawn Block
