Charles Samuel Brown of Evanturel Township died suddenly November 12, 2017, at Health Sciences North in Sudbury. He was born September 3, 1940, in Englehart, son of Herbert Brown and Maude James. In his younger years, he worked in mining and logging. He also worked for Esso in Temagami for several years and with his brother Herb in New Liskeard. He later returned to logging after he retired. He is survived by He is survived by the love of his life of 35 years, Rachel Denomme; son Kirk and wife Heather; daughter Charlene and husband Max and grandchildren Aaron, Vanessa, Sheldon, Cody, Matthew and Samantha. He is also survived by extended family Richard and Sharon and family, Gary and Roseanne and family, Rene and Linda and family, Steve and Annette and family, and Ivan and Melody and family, as well as his sister Sharon and Peter and family, and many cousins. He was predeceased by his son Vincent Brown; parents Herbert and Maude; brother Herb, wife Bessy, and their children Herbert jr., Mitchell and Stephanie Brown; stepson Rene Denomme; brothers Lloyd and Raymond; stepfather Ernie and nephew Michael. The family of the late Mr. Charles Brown will receive friends at the Good Shepherd Church on Friday, November 17, 2017, at 11:00 am. for a Celebration of Life` service.
