Bruno Jean-Paul Roy passed away suddenly at his home in Virginiatown on Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at the age of 61 years. Loving husband and best friend of Lois. Dear father of Angie Ducharme & her husband Noel of Kirkland Lake, Johnny Roy & his wife Angela of Kelowna, BC and Chantal Roy & her fiancé Dennis Pike of Kirkland Lake. Fondly remembered by his 8 grandchildren – Lindsay, Cory, Tommy, Tina, Dallas, Mea, Brittany-Ann and Danielle. Sadly missed by his mother Jeannette Duchesne & her husband Leo and by his sisters Tammy Comtois & her husband Alain and Carole Roy. Predeceased by his father Albert and by two grandchildren – Adam and Courtney. Bruno leaves behind his faithful companions, his beloved dogs. Visitation will be held at the MONETTE & FRENCH FUNERAL HOME on Thursday, July 19, 2007 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Celebration of Bruno’s life will be held in the “Teck-Hughes” Chapel of the Funeral Home on Friday, July 20, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. Bruno will be laid to rest at the Kirkland Lake Cemetery following the service.
