BOTTARO, Bruno (1939-2016)It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Bruno Bottaro on Thursday, February 11th, 2016 at the age of 76. Bruno is survived by his spouse Clara, his children Dino Bottaro (Anna) and Leanna Seaton (Brent), his siblings Giacinto Bottaro (Bruna) of Italy and Giancarlo Bottaro (Eva) of British Columbia, his brother-in-law Tony Di Sano (Nina), 4 nephews Nick, Paul, Michael and Danny, as well as his special friends Vito and Rose Angelicchio, Lou Tonello, Shirley Dal Pai and Michèle Guidolin. Bruno was predeceased by his 3 brothers and 1 sister, as well as his parents Antonio and Edvige Bottaro. He was a hard-working man and always had to keep busy, whether it was tinkering around the house or growing a healthy garden. He also enjoyed blueberry and mushroom picking with his buddies, and was proud to pass on the Italian culture of wine and sausage making to his special son-in-law Brent, with whom he had a close bond. We will all remember the happy times spent in the sanctuary of the gazebo. In keeping with Bruno’s wishes, there will be no viewing or service, and cremation has taken place at FRENCH FAMILY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIUM.
