Brian Turcott of King Kirkland, Ontario passed away on January 9, 2022 at Blanche River Health - Kirkland Lake Site.
Brian was born in Kirkland Lake, Ontario to Walter and Florence Turcott, on October 27, 1954.
Beloved husband of Cindy Portelance for 27 years and loving father to Nancy (Kevin), Cindy (Troy), Scott, Kristin, and Tiffany. He was a loving grandfather to his grandchildren, Peter, Isabella, Austin, Wesley, Savannah, Lincoln, Scott, Trista, Jennifer, and Khloe.
Predeceased by his brother Bruce, Brian will be forever missed by his brothers Earl (Late Mary), Lloyd (Late Liliane), sister-in-law Dorothy, mother-in-law Linda and brothers-in-law, André (Sue), and Paul (Molly), as well as many nieces and nephews.
Brian was a mechanic by trade. He worked at various garages, then decided to partner in Turcott Auto Wreakers. Brian was a Foreman at CTC and Cabo, before going into the mining industry at Alamos.
In keeping with Brian’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will take place at a future date.

We are so sorry to hear of Brian’s passing. It was always a pleasure to meet up with Brian as he usually had a good joke or a story to tell you. I will always remember Brian and his brother Lloyd at the wrecking yard shooting their homemade potato guns at all the wrecks in the yard. They were so proud of themselves. I don’t know how they ever got anything done! They were always having too much fun.

It was with shock that I heard of Brians passing. Brian always had a smile and time to chat. I offer my condolences to all the Turcott family at this time of sorrow.
I grew up with Brian in V-Town. He was a great Friend always had something to laugh about. Many years ago while on a snowmobile trip from North Bay to V-Town I ran into Brian on the trail between Kirkland Lake & King Kirkland, we chatted for quite a while.

So sad to hear about Brian's passing. He was always very good to me. Brian always welcomed me in his home even though I spent more time there hanging out with Nancy then my own home.
Brian was always laughing and making jokes. I will always be grateful for everything he did for me over the years.
