Betty's immediate and extended family

I'm sorry to hear the news of Betty's passing.
She came from a great family and married into one as well.
She was my kind "practice teaching supervisor" at Kearns School
when I was in Teachers' College.
I also remember her mother and sisters with fondness and respect.

I met Betty at Health Science North hospital in sudbury, I had the pleasure of being her nurse. I thought that to be very special, since I too am from New Liskeard. This lovely couple knew my family. I could tell she had a very loving husband and sister at her bedside whom were very involved with her care, this warmed my heart. After visiting hours we talked about how it was nice to have a familiar part of her corner of the world keeping her comfortable in a big hospital. Betty had a beautiful smile that lit up nightshift and that I will cherish forever. Rest in peace Betty. It was a pleasure meeting you!
