After a long courageous battle with cancer, Audrey Irene Bain passed away at the Temiskaming Hospital on May 20, 2011. She was 68. Mrs. Bain was born in Kirkland Lake on October 14, 1943 to Rose Clark and George Nudds. She received her education in Englehart and was a homemaker. She loved life, loved serving her community, the hospital, Legion Ladies Auxiliary and loved camping, fishing, darts, singing, theatre and travelling. She was extremely intuitive, kind and giving. Mrs. Bain was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 104. She was predeceased by her husband Trevor Bain. She is survived by Treva Gosselin of New Liskeard, Amber and Mike Glass of Toronto and three grandchildren-Sherri, Katherine and Christopher and three great-grandchildren- Brayden, Seth and Jack. Funeral arrangements were made by the McDonald Funeral Home in Englehart and a service for Mrs. Bain will be held Wednesday, May 25 at 11 a.m. Pallbearers are Christopher Gosselin, John Harrington, Mike Glass, Dale MacDonell and Guy Dupuis. Burial to take place at the Englehart Cemetery. Relatives and friends to attend from Toronto, Barrie, Timmins, New York and New Liskeard.
