ARTHUR CLARKE BULL,

2021

BULL, Arthur Clarke – Passed away at Teck-Pioneer Residence on May 13th, 2015 at the age of 71. Art valiantly fought alzheimer’s disease for 10 years. He was predeceased by his wife Sheila and beloved daughters Harmony and Amanda. He will be forever missed and loved by his wife Suzanne Stamper, his “big” sister Arlene Smith, his nieces and nephews, and the family he embraced his son and daughter-in-law David Stamper, Eve Harris and grandchildren Matthew and Elizabeth; who brought him much happiness. His brother-in-law Roger and Roger’s son Ryan were always there to help through the difficult years. His sisters-in-law Sharon and Sandra and their respective spouses Richard and Claus were an incredible support for both Arthur and Suzanne. Art was born and raised in Kirkland Lake by a wonderful mother, Doris Bull. From an early age, he was a handful, always on the go, active, athletic and headstrong as his big sister can attest. He was an excellent athlete, and won many awards in swimming, racing, downhill skiing and football with the KLCVI Red Devils. Art loved dogs and rescued many throughout his life. He always lent a helping hand to those in need. He loved Kirkland Lake and the North. He was a diehard “Dale Earnhardt” (Jr. and Sr.) Nascar fan and attended many races. He was an avid snowmobiler and knew every trail between New Liskeard and Timmins. Art was a kind, caring man with a heart of gold. He would want to thank his many friends in Georgetown, Timmins and Kirkland Lake for the shared good times. Above all, he loved his family. There will be no funeral service and cremation has taken place. In memory of Art, please “Reach out and help someone in need”. Thank you to the incredible, caring and loving staff of Teck-Pioneer Residence. You were his angels! “Thyself away are present still with me, For thou not farther than my thoughts cans’t move, And I am still with them and they with thee.”Offer Condolence for the family of Arthur Clarke Bull

We are very Sorry and UPSET to have found out about Art,. We always wondered what happened to him after you moved to Kirkland Lake. It would have been nice to have been able to keep in contact. Jim would have wished to be able to visit, and see him especially at his passing. Jim knew Art so well, before and with his wife Sheila and girls. Also, remember, the trip to Florida together. And many times together. It was as if when he had Alzheimer’s he was moved to Kirkland Lake and disappeared At least now we know, and will stop wondering about him. We wished You would have kept in touch with us about Art. Suzanne, it is with Deep Sadness we had to find out in this manner. May he now rest in God’s loving arms,at peace ,with his loved ones

I’ll always remember Arthur as a strong, practical, caring man who loved his new family. I’ll remember him charging into the recovery room when my son was born with his camera in hand. My wife says they are the worst pictures of her ever, but it showed how much he loved us. As is often said in these cases, his passing is something of a mercy, but it is still a terrible thing he had to suffer through. I really hope that they lick this thing and soon, so more grandkids won’t have to miss their grandpas and grandmas.

Arthur was a wonderful man who loved his family and cherished his grandchildren. We only wish we could have had more time with him.

Dear Suzanne and family. So sorry to hear of Arthur’s passing. But happy you and Arthur found each other and had some happy years together. I always remember as a very young girl living across the street from Arthur. As you know, I was the oldest of 4 girls and always protecting them. (Fran, Rocky and Jackie). One day Arthur was mean to one of them (can’t remember which one, probably Rocky as she was the brat of the family). Anyway I took off down the street with a baseball bat trying to catch Arthur and beat him up!! And someone had to stop me, although I would never have caught up with him. It was a story we always laughed about whenever I met up with him. Alzheimer’s is such a tragedy in our lives now. Thinking of you Suzanne and the family. Hugs xxoo.

Dear Suzanne and family. So sorry to hear of Arthur’s passing. My family lived across the street from the Bull’s in Federal, when we were very young. He was a great person and always had a smile when ever we met up in KL or Timmins. He suffered such sadness when he tragically lost his beautiful family. But was very lucky to find happiness with Suzanne in his later years. Rest in Peace Arthur!
