In loving memory of Mr. Ambrose Wilford Kasobuski, of Gowganda, who passed away at Englehart & District Hospital, on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at the age of 79. Pre-deceased by his parents Philip and Annie (Yakabuski) Kasobuski, step son Ron Carter, sisters Florence Pletz (Bernard), Susan Banfield (Herbert), Thereasa Zmija, Julia (infant), brother Edmund (infant), and sister in law Stella Kasobuski.. He is survived by his wife Irene, his step children, Emily (Don) Everett of Gowganda, Albert (Eva) Carter of Garson, Dorothy (Rene) Lalonde of Val Caron, Beatrice (Adrien) Duguay of Val Caron, Marjory (Ed) Commanda of Golden Lake, Theresa (Bill) Scully of Val Caron, Raymond (Rachel) Carter of Val Caron, Jimmy (Dorine) Carter of Kirkland Lake, step daughter in law Dorthy Carter of Chelmsford, 27 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren. Also by his siblings, brothers Raymond (Rita) Kasobuski of Pembroke, Benjamin Kasobuski of Kitchener, Monica (Enard) Nieman of Pembroke, brother in law Emil Zmija of Kitchener and a number of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. The family of the late Mr. Ambrose Kasobuski will receive friends at the McDonald Funeral Home, Englehart, Monday, February 27, from 1 - 4 pm. Funeral Service will be held at McDonald Funeral Home on Monday, February 27, at 4:00 pm. Pastor Stephen Wuerch officiating. Spring interment at the Elk Lake Poplar Grove Cemetery. In memory contributions to Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation will be greatly appreciated.
