It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Amanda Lachapelle on Sunday, July 30, 2023 in Kirkland Lake, Ontario. Predeceased by her brother Chad Lachapelle and her father Jules “Pete” Lachapelle.
Amanda leaves behind 3 children; Keaira Lachapelle, Karsen Lachapelle and Serenity Desrochers and granddaughter Sienna. Remembered by Guy Desrochers and grandparents Ghislaine and Ron Desrochers.
Beloved daughter of Lucille Rowe (nee Langlois), she will be missed by her step-father Ron Rowe, her sister Theresa Pritchard and her brother Erin Pritchard and step-brother Ronald Lachapelle as well as her nieces Candace, Hannah and Zander, nephew Jesse James and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family invite relatives and friends to join them for a Celebration of Life for Amanda on Friday, August 11, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Timiskaming Funeral Cooperative, French Family Chapel in Kirkland Lake. Cremation has taken place, interment to follow at a later date at St. Paul’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Sandhurst, Ontario.

At 14 there was us 5 girls Amanda Jen Chloe Tina and myself (Liisa) we were inseparable from laughs to skipping school to sleep overs to school dances. Those were some of my best memories of my life was with you. It breaks my heart to see such a wonderful person gain their wings so quickly you will forever be missed, but never forgotten.
We're so sorry to hear about Amanda's passing as she was way too young to die. We remember when we seing her last at the Lachapelle's family Reunion. At that time she was expecting her last child " Serenity"& was at a good place in her life. I remember joking with her about having her baby at anytime at the family Reunion as she was 8 months pregnant at the time! We got to spend alot of time with her there as we were camping side by side. We're so thankful for that precious time we got to spend with her & her family there. May she finally rest in peace with her brother "Chad", her dad "Pete" & Uncles up in heaven. Until we meet again our beautiful niece. Love Aunt Caroline & Uncle Rick xo
