It is with sadness that the family of Allan Lawrence announces his passing at Extendicare Kirkland Lake on Thursday, May 19, 2016.Allan was predeceased by his wife Helen Elva Lawrence; parents James and Emma Lawrence and siblings Arthur, Edgar, Robert, Ira, Elva, Lillian & Elsie. He is survived by his sons Bruce (Lina) & Philip (Brenda); grandchildren Russell, Clifford, Wesley, Jeffrey (Denise) & Kevin (Jackie Plant); great grandchildren Mattawa & Elizabeth Lawrence and Stephanie & Kasy Beaulieu as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.Allan was a Veteran of WWII with the Toronto Scottish Regimen and participated in the liberation of Holland & France. For all his accomplishments, he received the French Legion of Honour.Service Details
Cremation has taken place at French Family Funeral Home & Crematorium. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of French Family Funeral Home & Crematorium.Donations
