It is with great sadness that the family announces the loss of Yvonne Laframboise. She died peacefully on February 22nd, 2009 at the Englehart and District Hospital at the age of 81 years. Yvonne was born in Belle Vallée, Ontario. Predeceased by her parents, Ovila and Louisa (Pelletier) Blain, her infant daughter Jeanette, her sister Thérèse (Paul Emile) Béland and her son-in-law Robert Adams. Left to mourn, Edward Laframboise, her husband of 62 years, and her eleven children, Denise (Ralph) Marchese of Woodbridge, André (Réjeanne) of Hilliard, Roland (Denise) of Earlton, Alice Monette of Kirkland Lake, Maurice (Laurie) of Earlton, Carole Adams of South Porcupine, Hector (Louise) of Earlton, Claude (Louise) of Thornloe, Claire Salmon of North Bay, Gilles (Anne) of Rockland , Anne (Alain) Fiset of New Liskeard. Also her siblings Theode (Irene) Blain of Englehart, Valmire Blain of Toronto, Herman (Rita) Blain of New Liskeard, Valeda (Leo) Gervais of Haileybury, Beatrice (Archie) Willard of New Liskeard, Edouard (Lea) Blain of New Liskeard, Aurèle Blain of Toronto, Rachel (Paul) Renaud of Notre-Dame-du Nord. Mrs Laframboise will also be sadly missed by 31 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, nieces, nephews and many friends. Honourable mention should also be made to special friend, Pauline (Michel) Labbé. Yvonne will be remembered for her remarkable devotion to her family. She loved all aspects of life. Whether it was working on the farm, in her upholstery shop, or spending time in her large garden, she always had a twinkle in her eye and a bounce in her step with so much energy. Her courage, joy, and generousity are a great inspiration to all those she touched. Family and friends will be welcomed at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Parish Hall in Earlton from 7:00pm to 9:00pm on Wednesday, February 25th, 2009 and 9:00am to11:00 am on February 26th, 2009. Funeral mass will be at 11:00 am February 26th, 2009 at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Church in Earlton. Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
