WILLIAM SEDGWICK,

2021

SEDGWICK, William Robert – William fondly known as Bill passed away on January 22, 2013 in his 65th year. Bill was a popular face in town and known to many. His vibrant personality, sense of humour, intelligence and storytelling will be profoundly missed. He enjoyed the closeness of family and the friendships that he had fostered over the years, and cherished the joy that people in his life brought. Bill fondly recalled Kabaret and working with the creative community of people that brought great productions to life and will be remembered for for his many years of contribution. He will be missed around the campfire on warm summer nights as fellow Survivors Club members recall the grand days of their youth. Forever a die hard Leafs fan – Bill loved a great hockey game, a cold Coke and a good conversation. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff on the 4th floor of the Kirkland Lake District Hospital for their compassionate care of Bill over the last couple months.Bill is survived by a loving family – Wendy Sedgwick, Krista Sedgwick, Tiffany Sedgwick -Mandarano (Mark Nielsen, Nick Mandarano, Tim Grover). Hi Wendy, I don’t know if you remember me, Kevin Taman. We went to KLCVI together. I just wanted to say how sorry I was to hear of your dads passing. I worked with him for a time at Supremes in Kirkland Lake. He was a good guy to work with. He will be missed

Bill, you certainly have made an impact on my life as well as many others. You gave us teenyboppers a place to hang out on a Saturday Night, down at the YWCA ” Saturday Night Dance of the Week “…Would have loved to have had a reunion as we talked about. That would have been a blast Now God has chosen you to be his Angel…R.I.P. Bill My condolence to the family in this heartfelt time. Julie Brook Lefebvre

Bill was such a dedicated volunteer ensuring many successful Kabarets! Not sure who spent more time preparing for each years show- Bill or Randy! At times I was certain they were joined at the hip!, Sincere condolences to his family.

Wendy,to you, your sisters and extended families my deepest condolences. I know that your Dad is talking the ear off Marc and Mike now. He is in good company. He was a good man with so many memories to tell, there isn’t enough space on here. It was Bill who brought Mike and I together and for that he was always more special than anyone else. Please let me know when the memorial will be and if I can do anything to help with it. My love, hugs and kisses always.

To the Sedgwick & Gregory families On behalf of the Lang family, our thoughts and prayers are with you on your recent loss. We have many fond memories of working with Bill during his 36 years + at Supreme Television & Cable. Bill was intelligent, easy going and a dedicated co-worker and friend. During the difficult years when fire ravished the business, Bill was a real trooper in helping us get back on track to re-open the business. The Lang family is sincerely grateful for his dedication and loyalty over the years, but most of all we will miss him as a friend and his friendly smile. On behalf of the Lang family, may Bill R.I.P.
