It is with great sadness that the family of William Joseph Parkes announces his passing, peacefully at home in Kirkland Lake, ON on July 5, 2024, at the age of 75.
Leaving behind his loving wife of 34 years, Ruth. Fondly remembered by his children, Charlotte (Bill) and Jason (Danielle), his grandson Tristan, his sisters, Judy (John), Susan (Ray) and Vickie (Clem), his brothers, Ken (Sharon) and Brian, his nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by his Dad, Joseph, and Mom, Helen.
As per William's request, no funeral or memorial service will be held.

Fond memories of Bill from the old days in the Federal when we would play down on the slimes, out at O'Connell Lake or at the Federal School Rink shack. We would pass by the Park's House on the way down to see the Boones.
