It is with great sadness that the family of Vida Otonicar announce her passing on Sunday, March 31, 2019. Vida was predeceased by her parents Antonia and Matt Otonicar. She is survived by her loving brother and sister-in-law Vince and Joyce, nephew Mark (Wendy), niece Jo-Ann, great nephews Joshua (Lynn and son Kage) and Kurtis, great niece Amanda and cousin Frank Mele (Lucy and family). Vida was a lifelong resident of Kirkland Lake who worked in Kirkland Lake and was a member of Holy Name Parish as well as their choir, C.W.L. and Interlink choir for many years where she made lifelong friends. Vida will be sorely missed by family and friends who remember her as a loving, kind, compassionate, considerate, a lovely lady. We will always carry your memory in our hearts. Supporting Vida’s wishes, there will be a family service with interment in the Spring.Offer Condolence for the family of Vida Otonicar

I was so sorry to hear of Vida’s death. She was one of my first students when I came to teach at King George School many years ago. Then we met again in the Interlink Choir. I’ve missed seeing her there in the past few years. She will be missed.
