The family announces with sorrow the passing of Todd Wesley Mitchell at the Engehart & District Hospital on Saturday, the 2nd of November 2013. Todd was born at the Englehart & District Hospital on the 9th of March 1963, the youngest child of Eleanor & Wayne Mitchell. Todd lived life to the fullest – he loved Fun, Sports and People and people loved him. Todd leaves behind his partner in life Kathy Blancher – his inherited cherished daughter Chloe Ann Raftis; beloved son Nicholas (Nick) Wesley and cherished daughter Paige Eleanor. Survived, as well, by parents Wayne and Eleanor (Lawrence) – sister Tami and her husband Dallas Horz, niece Jeni Mitchell and partner Jason Fraser of Kettleby, ON; nephew Jon Mitchell of Lethbridge, AB – brother Larry and sister-in-law Loriann (Swanson) nephew Justin and niece Allison (Ally) – aunts, uncles and cousins in both the Lawrence and Mitchell families. Survived by parents-in-law Larry and Ann Blancher of Charlton, brother-in-law Charles (Mary) Blancher of Mitchell, ON -David Blancher of Charlton – sister-in-law Carolyn Blancher of Englehart and many nieces, nephews and cousins-in-law of the Blancher, Schinkel and Montminy families. Predeceased by “special†uncle Mike Montminy. A celebration of Todd’s life will be held at the Englehart Community Hall (arena-upstairs) on Saturday November 9th, 2013 – visitation between 1 – 3pm – Memorial Service conducted by dear friend Steve Wuerch will begin at 3pm with pall bearers Brad Jamieson, Steven Church, Stephen Scott and Fraser Richards The honour guard pall bearers David Blancher, Ron Lawrence, Joe Lawrence, Dale Mitchell, Sheilah Mitchell Webber, Tim O’Grady, Kelly Williams and Eric Wilson. Cremation has taken place and interment will be in the Englehart Cemetery.
