SKINNER, Thomas

It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Thomas Tom Skinner on August 20, 2011 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Tom passed peacefully at home with his wife and loyal companions Moses and Hailey by his side. Born May 18th, 1962, Tom was predeceased by his father and grandfather Thomas and his mother Jean Ridley and his brother in law Michael Taylor. Tom is survived by his wife Donna, his children Thomas TJ and Kim, Echko and Rosie and Nicky ; his sisters Melinda Taylor, and Sheryl Mrs. Andy Mallais, his grandmother Hazel Skinner and many other family members. God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around you and whispered come to me. With tearful eyes we watched and saw you pass away. Although I loved you dearly, I couldn't make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke my heart to prove to me, He only takes the best. In keeping with Tom's wishes, there will be no visitation, or funeral service. A celebration of life will be held at the home of Andy and Sheryl Mallais on Monday August 22nd at 2 p.m.
