Sincere condolences on the loss of your mother/grandmother/great-grandmother. In grade nine at KLCVI, Theresa were good friends and though I only knew her that one year, Ive often thought of her over the years. May she rest in peace.

HICKNELL, Theresa Marie passed away peacefully at the Kirkland & District Hospital on Friday, July 19th, 2019 at the age of 74. Theresa was born on October 27, 1944 in Goodfish, Ontario to Leo and Fernandine Hicknell whom are predeceased. Also predeceased is her brother Hubert Hicknell. She is survived by her three children, Tracey (Andre), Barbara (Denis), Deborah (Rob), seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a niece and nephew. She will be sadly missed by her close friends Jeannette Rowan, Patricia Fournier (formerly Desgagnes), Bev Wallace and Judy Gryska. Theresa was a lifelong resident of Kirkland Lake and enjoyed spending time with her friends. A special thank you to the ladies of the Timiskaming Palliative Care for your care and support throughout Theresa’s illness. In keeping with Theresa’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Theresa was a recipient of a transplanted liver years ago, so please sign your organ donor card.
