1942 - 2024

It is with extreme sadness that the family of Stan Mason announces his passing on June 16, 2024 at the Blanche River Health – Kirkland Lake Site after a lengthy illness.

Stan was predeceased by his beloved wife Claudette (Bougie) and his parents George and Blanche Mason; his brothers in law Lou Mackie, Vern Dorsey, Ken Sjolin and Jim Troke.

He is survived by his sons Leonard (Nova) of Thunder Bay & Larry of Kirkland Lake, grandson Andrew and great grandson Liam; sisters Rose Mackie, Shirley Dorsey, Joyce Sjolin & Eleanor Troke & many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Stan was a very proud long-standing member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 87, Kirkland Lake.

As per his request, cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held.

The family would like to thank the Doctors and nurses of Blanche River Health for their kindness, care and compassion.
