It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Sofia Quibell at 76 years of age.
Sofia passed quietly surrounded by family on October 5, 2024 at Blanche River Health, Kirkland Lake Site. Sofia was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Francess Sanecki, her husband Cecil J. Quibell (2019) and her sister Barbara.
Sofia is survived by her children John (Shannon) Quibell and Jessica (Charles) Sietzema, her precious grandchildren Evan John Quibell, Kael Hendrix John Sietzema, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family who loved her dearly.

My deepest sympathies go out to you. Aunt Sophie was a bright light in so many people’s lives especially mine. I loved spending time with her and regret it wasn’t as much lately. Heaven gained another angel and she is reunited with her one true love. Now the will both be looking down on you all. She maybe gone but will never be forgotten.
