DUVAL, Simone

Simone Agathe Duval of New Liskeard died October 30, 2010, at the Temiskaming Hospital. She was born in Uno Park on March 10, 1946, to Léo and Fernande (Benoit) Plante. Mrs. Duval is survived by her loving husband Roland; daughters Manon, Anne (Marc Lalonde) and Martine (Eric St. Onge); grandchildren Alexa, Micah, Emilie and Liah; her mother Fernande Plante; siblings Rita (J.C. Lemire), Bibiane (Jacques Julien), Suzanne (Jean-Paul Gravelle), Anita (Ken Little), Jean Louis Plante, Remi Plante (Laurie), Leon Plante, Claudette (Gilles Pepin), Lucie Brazeau (Bob Sutton) and Jacynthe (Bob Arseneault); and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Léo Plante, brother Henri Plante and nephew Jamie Gravelle. The funeral was conducted by Father Richard Ngoy at Sacred Heart Church on November 4.
