SARAH MACLELLAN,

Mrs. Sarah Margaret MacLellan passed away peacefully at Springdale Country Manor on Tuesday, June 26, 2007 in her 98th year. She was a longtime C.W.L. member of St. Peter’s Cathedral and Holy Name Parish; volunteer with Meals on Wheels; longtime KOPS member of Peterborough and Kirkland Lake and member of Vincent de Paul. Sarah was the beloved wife of the late John MacDougall and the late Alexander MacLellan. She is the loving mother of Jacqueline Lothian (late Bill) of Ottawa, Winnie (John) Amorini of Ennismore, Roddie Hugh (Judy) MacDougall of Peterborough, Linda (Frank) Roberts of Peterborough and fondly remembered by John McNeil. Sarah was predeceased by her children Evangeline, Florence, John MacDougall (Shirley), Mary Scott, Sheila Sparks Hickey (Ron), Joan LaBonte; sons in law John Scott, Ray Scott, Ron Sparks, Ivan LaBonte; daughter in law Laurette MacDougall; granddaughter Joanne Lothian – Mountford as well as four sisters and three brothers. She will be sadly missed by her 44 grandchildren; 81 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Holy Name of Jesus Parish on Saturday, May 24, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Sarah will be laid to rest in the Kirkland Lake Cemetery.
