DUNN, Roy

Roy Dunn, who was born and raised in New Liskeard, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2014 with loving family by his side at the Temiskaming Hospital, after a two year battle with cancer. Dad was predeceased by his loving wife Jean in 2003, and parents David and Jean (Mason) Dunn. He was the proud father of his daughters Janet Dunn(Basil), Linda (Al Cote) and Patricia (Brian Coufal). He is survived by his special friend Peggy Frew, Mary Seniuk (sister), 5 grandchildren Ryan (Rachel) Cote, Jennifer Cote, Stacy (Kevin) Utas, Kayleigh Coufal, Brady Coufal) and 2 great grandchildren (Eli Cote, Jada Utas) and numerous nieces and nephews. Dad lived for his family, their get togethers, and their pets. He enjoyed travelling, nature, fishing and carpentry. He worked as a construction supervisor until he retired from the MTO. Over the years he was also the owner operator of a number of businesses. Per Dad`s wishes he will be cremated and a private family gathering will held to celebrate his life. Thank you to the caring and considerate Nurses and Doctors (Dr. Corbin, Dr. Davies and Dr. Cano). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Lung Association. Perrin Funeral Chapel Ltd. is entrusted with the arrangements.
