I would like to express my deepest sympathy to the McGill family and specially to cliff ( he was my partner at Kerr Addison mine ) Jocelyn Lacasse from rouyn-noranda I'm thinking of you quite often take care
It is with deep sadness that we announce Rose’s passing at her home on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 with family at her side. Rose was born in England to the late Herbert and Rose Smith. She served in the British Forces for 3 years and later became a Legion Member with the Branch 87 as a Wold War II Vet. Predeceased by her brothers Bert, Stanley and Ernie. Rose will be dearly missed by her husband of 65 years, Charles William McGill; their children Robert and his wife Debra, Brian and his wife Linda and Clifford and his wife Colleen; her grandchildren Carey Ann, Racheal, Ashley, Sherri (Terri), Brian (Tara), Shauna, Kristina [Ryan]; fondly remembered by extended grandchildren, Mark (Angie), Matt, Jake, Gino; precious great grandchildren Shantel, Shelby, Savanna, Shaye, Alexander, Lauren, Abigail, Lucas, Colby, Olivia and Carter. Also dearly missed by her brother John and his wife Vera as well as her sister Margaret “Peggy” Manning. The Family would like to thank the V.O.N. for all the care and support provided to Rose.
