VERITY, Ronald

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ron on July 2, 2023, at the Temiskaming Hospital.

He was loved and remembered by his best friend Wanda Taylor, his children; Gord Taylor, Stephanie Perrin (Derek Etches), Mike (Lisa), grandchildren; Thomas and Alex, nieces, and nephews; Laurie (John), Janice (André) and Jonathan. Ron was predeceased by his son Paul.

He was a member of the New Liskeard Lions Club for 25 years, National Cash Register for 45 years and owned the Wine Place for 20 years. Ron enjoyed spending some of his time with the founding fathers fishing friends.

He was loved by everyone he met.

Thanks to the Temiskaming Hospital, the team of Dr’s, nurses that cared for Ron. Special thanks to Dr. Logan, Dr. Davies & Anna for the at home visits, the Home and Community Care Support Services and Colette Bélanger for the excellent care provided to Ronald.

In Memory of Ron, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.

In keeping with Ron ‘s wishes, cremation has been arranged with Timiskaming Funeral Cooperative and a private service will be held at a later date.
