Peter, Nicole and Family
Sending our deepest sympathies with the loss of your cherished Father, Father-in-law, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather. May your memories soothe your pain.
It is with deep sorrow the family of Ronald Brown announce his passing on July 14, 2023 at the age of 92. He is predeceased by his wife Marjorie Brown (Brough) in 2007, his parents James and Mary Brown and his brothers and sisters; Jim, Edna, Eve, Glady, Ernie, Cliff, Claire, Rhoda, Raymond and Ross. He is survived by his children Carole Fordyce (Dennis) of Bourkes, Patti Landers (Brian) of Sesekinika, Peter Brown (Nicole) of Swastika and Christine Chartrand (Chris) of Kenogami. Also left to mourn his passing are his grandchildren Shane, Jennifer, Melissa, Amanda, Samantha and Hannah, his great grandchildren Connor, Addison, Deegan, Sophie and Kylie as well as his sister Margaret Brown and his sister-in-law Shirley Brown.
Ron started to work at a very young age to help support the family during the depression. He later moved to Toronto when he was old enough and worked there at numerous jobs. He met his future wife there and moved to Kirkland Lake where he started working for Walter Little Transport, driving transport trucks until his retirement in 1988. He was part of the transition from Walter Little to Dominion Freighways to Dominion Consolidated Truck Lines to Brazeau Transport where he retired. He enjoyed having picnics with his family and always wanted to check out what was down the next road. He enjoyed camping, traveling and loved hosting or attending family gatherings.
The family would like to thank the many nurses, PSWs and Doctors who took care of dad during his 7 month stay in hospital.
In keeping with Ron's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service.

Those we love don't go away,
they walk beside us everyday.
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
still loved, still missed, and very dear
